1. Data Controller

The responsible party for data processing on this website within the meaning of data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), is:

Cleanfix Reinigungssysteme AG
Stettenstrasse 15
CH-9247 Henau-Uzwil SG

E-Mail: robotic@cleanfix.com
Website: www.cleanfix-robotics.com

2. General Information

Cleanfix takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g., communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

3. Data Collection and Server Log Files

When you access our website, the provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

    • Browser type and browser version

    • Operating system used

    • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

    • Hostname of the accessing computer

    • Time of the server request

This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

4. SSL Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

5. Cookies and Consent Management (Complianz)

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your end device. Cookies help us to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure.

Complianz Consent Management

We use the Complianz Privacy Suite for WordPress on our website. This tool allows us to obtain and document your consent to the use of cookies and other tracking technologies in a legally compliant manner. Complianz automatically blocks cookies and third-party scripts (such as Google Maps, YouTube videos, or ad pixels) until you have given your explicit consent via the cookie banner. When you visit our website, a cookie is set to save your preferences (consent status). This means you do not have to decide again every time you visit. For more information on data protection at Complianz, please visit: https://complianz.io/privacy-policy/

6. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

7. Newsletter (Mailchimp)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide (e.g., email address) will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter.

Service Provider: Our newsletters are distributed via “Mailchimp”, a platform of the Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

Data Transfer to the USA: The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as other data described in this notice, are stored on Mailchimp’s servers in the USA. Mailchimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Mailchimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or pass it on to third parties.

Statistical Analysis: The newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon” (a pixel-sized file) which is retrieved from the Mailchimp server when the newsletter is opened. This collects technical information (browser, system, IP address, time of retrieval) to improve the service technically.

Unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (withdraw consent). You will find a link to unsubscribe at the end of each newsletter.

8. Google Analytics 4 and Google Signals

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Signals

We have activated the “Google Signals” function. This updates existing Google Analytics features (advertising reports, remarketing, cross-device reports, and demographics) to provide us with aggregated and anonymized data from you, provided you have allowed personalized ads in your Google Account. This means: Google can link your behavior on this website with your Google Account to provide us with statistical insights into target groups (e.g., age, gender, interests) as well as cross-device tracking.

IP Anonymization

We have activated IP anonymization. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA.

Objection to Data Collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by refusing consent in our cookie banner (managed by Complianz) or by downloading and installing the browser plugin available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

9. Google Ads and Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited. As part of Google Ads, we use conversion tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

10. Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tag Manager only implements tags. This means: No cookies are used and no personal data is collected by the Tag Manager itself. It triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data.

11. Google Maps and Web Fonts

Google Maps

This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we have indicated on the website.

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google for the uniform representation of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Web Fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. As a result, Google learns that this website has been accessed via your IP address.

12. Social Media (Profiles and Ad Pixels)

We maintain profiles on social networks and use tracking technologies (pixels) within the scope of advertising campaigns to measure the success of our advertising.

A. Social Media Profiles (Organic) We maintain profiles on the following networks. When you visit these, data is processed by the platform operators.

B. Advertising Tracking (Pixels and Tags) If we place advertisements on these platforms, we use conversion tracking pixels. These are blocked by our consent tool (Complianz) until you consent.

    • LinkedIn Insight Tag: We use the Insight Tag from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. It allows us to analyze campaigns and retarget website visitors. Data is processed in encrypted and anonymized form. Opt-Out Link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out

    • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): We use the pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. to define target groups for ads and measure their effectiveness. Opt-Out Link: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads

    • TikTok Pixel: We use the pixel from TikTok Technology Limited to measure the effectiveness of our ads on TikTok.

    • Pinterest Tag: We use the tag from Pinterest Europe Ltd. to measure conversions of our Pinterest campaigns.

    • X (Twitter) Pixel: We use the pixel tag from Twitter International Unlimited Company to measure the success of our ads on X.

If you do not wish this tracking, you can refuse consent in our cookie banner.

13. Job Applications

If you send us an application via email or an online form, we process your personal data exclusively for the purpose of handling the application process. If the application leads to employment, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with statutory regulations. If the application does not lead to employment, the application documents will be deleted after the application process has been completed (at the latest after 4 months), provided that deletion does not conflict with any other legitimate interests of the controller or you have consented to longer storage.

14. Data Transfer Abroad and Legal Basis

We are entitled to transfer your personal data to third-party companies (commissioned service providers) abroad if this is required for the purposes described in this privacy policy. These are obliged to data protection to the same extent as we are. We process your data based on your consent (e.g., newsletter, cookies), for contract fulfillment, or based on legitimate interests (e.g., analysis, security).

15. Copyrights and Liability Disclaimer

The copyrights and all other rights to content, images, photos, or other files on the website belong exclusively to Cleanfix Reinigungssysteme AG or the specifically named rights holders. The written consent of the copyright holders must be obtained in advance for the reproduction of any elements.

Liability for Links

References and links to third-party websites are outside our area of responsibility. We reject any responsibility for such websites. Access and use of such websites are at the user’s own risk.

16. Your Rights

You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing at any time, as well as a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in Section 1.
